SD-UX

Hi i am new to HP-UX , can anybody tell, what are the steps to create a software depot in a server, and how to install software from that depot and how to configure a depot server and how to install a sofware from depot server

Basically you can only copy or merge depots (swcopy) but packaging (swpackage) them is hard.

swinstall -s /path-to-depot

For a depot server, all you need to do is swcopy or "swreg -l depot" to register the depot.

swinstall -s server:/path-to-depot
