Hi,
I have one query to ask.
Is there any possibility to have our user's home directory managed by SG
or
is there any way that users can login to only one server at a time in a two node SG cluster. when he logs out of one server only then they be able to login to other server or if one server goes down, only then they be able to login to other server.
Replies will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Vishu

Re: SG managed home directories
When users are logging into a server in a SG cluster, have them specify the floating / package IP address. That way they will be logged into the system that the package is running on.

Hi Vishu:
You might configure the user's HOME directory to reside on a logical volume owned and controlled by a package. Then, in '/etc/default/security' set 'ABORT_LOGIN_ON_MISSING_HOMEDIR=1'. See the manpages for 'security(4)'.
Regards!
