Re: SLES 9 - Hi Perf mouse blows out fiber config?????
Shalom,
Kind off the path.
1) Those EVA controller DL380 boxes ship with Windows 2003 Server, though there are a number of OS choices. Well actually when we got ours they told us to use one of our 2003 Server licenses so it shipped empty. But their recommended install wanted Windows on the controller box.
On the Linux side, RHEL4 ships with QLA drivers that work those cards.
RHEL5 does not, I had to install PSP to get those drivers working. QLA drivers ship as part of PSP.
The HP Hi Perf mouse is not a very good piece of software. I used it, but the results were a little quirkey, even when connecting from IE 6 with a solid version of Java. Sometimes two pointers, loads of fun.

He is _not_ talking about an EVA management server used to run Command View EVA. This is indeed restricted to Windows.
The 'EVA Cluster File Server for Linux' is an application server.
