SNMP access (hp ux 11.23)

recently got dinged on a secruity audit for the below issue:

If SNMP access is not required on this system, then disallow it. Otherwise, use a secure un-guessable "community name", and restrict the hosts that talk SNMP with your system to a defined list of IP addresses.

How would we go about restricting the hosts thru a definded list of ip addresses ?

If you are sure you don't need snmp, disable it.

Otherwise you are not sure what IP to deny, are you?

Consider to use bastille to make your system secure.

how do i specify the defined list of ip addresses ?

how do i disable snmp ?
