SSH2, HP-UX / Trusted Systems - Need Help

System: hpux 10.20 with trusted systems on
Software: ssh2 (www.ssh.com)

The software is configured and installed. When I connect to the server I get the key. However, when I try to log in It says "password incorrect retype your password". I'm aware of case sensitivity; I've tried retyping the password numerous times. I have the same configuration on this box as another system of mine that is working. The only thing I can think of is that "trusted systems" might be hanging it up somewhere.
Any suggestions?

Did you convert to a trusted system before or after installing SSH? I've found that converting after installation of SSH required me to reinstall the SSH package.

The system was trusted prior to install.

Do you definitely need SSH2? You might also try OpenSSH, it works pretty well with HP Trusted Systems.

Hi,

I have both HP-UX 10.20 and HP-UX 11.00 trusted systems. No problems with SSH v1 and v2 for logins. If you are encountering login problems, are you using the newer versions of sshd2 which fixes the interoperability problems with TCB?

sshd 2.1.0 and ssh 1.2.27 works well in my environment.

I am using ssh-2.4.0 The tcb problems should be resolved in that version. I've tried re-generating the keys incase there was a problem with them. Then I tried the configure,make,install process again. I'm getting the same results.

Fixed this problem years ago. Not sure why it shows in my queue all of the sudden. lol...
