SUSE 10 SP 1 on BL460c BL480c doesnt boot
SUSE Linux SP 1 seems to have all the drivers of BL480c, BL460c, and Smart Array Controller(cciss) out-of-the-box.
Raid 1+0 is configured from BIOS(Hardware RAID).
Installation goes smoothly and completed succesfully, but after installation when the system tries to boot(first time), on the ILO console(web browser) we got the message as "attempting to boot from local disk". and the system never boots.
We are installing SUSE on Local hard drives, and without LVM.
kindly advise for any known issues. any firmware update ?
Regards
Maaz

Re: SUSE 10 SP 1 on BL460c BL480c doesnt boot
The sas hard drives were faulty ;) Our vendor replaced the hard drives, and its done without any issue.
