Gurus,
Do you happen to know if Samba has any filesize limits ? I have a customer who is having failures trying to create a Teradata loader file >2G on a Samba filesystem.
Samba Version is 3 and Unix box is AIX

Pattabhi Raman

Solution
Depending of the version, there are limits, for the samba client, and AIX file system (must have large files enabled), and the "ulimit" settings.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: Samba Question
Hi,
This question isn't really relevant to HP or Linux, however I don't believe Samba has any limits.
I'd guess the limitation will be coming from the filesystem being used on the AIX side of things... Try asking IBM !
Cheers,
Rob
