Script EMS's "monconfig" changes?

Silly question but I can't find the answer anywhere. I am modifying our EMS monitors to also forward SNMP traps. I do this by entering the "monconfig" menu and adding a new monitor and it works fine.

I have to do this for over 100 servers so I am looking for a way to script this change. There does not seem to be a config file and monconfig does not accept arguments. Any ideas on how to automate this from the command line?

Details:
I use: /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig
and then, (A) to add a new request, select (A) again for all, select threshold and criteria, then choose notification method of SNMP.

I could do this using EXPECT but that seems like overkill. Any ideas?

thanks!

Maybe you can do this with emscli?

Hope this helps!

Nice! Thanks for the fast reply! According to the man page, this is just what I was looking for. I didn't know about emscli. I'll try it and let you know how it worked before closing out the thread.
