Secondary swap HDD failed

Hi,
Advance thanks to all...
Here in our one L2000 Server one HDD is failed. That HDD was configured as secondary swap. Now the system performance is badly effected. Hope I can replace the HDD online. Please help me to do the same by providing some tested procedures. Find the attached details (ioscan -fn, /etc/lvmtab, vgdisplay, EMS data) from the Server.
OS Version is HP-UX 11.11

Thanks & regards,

Re: Secondary swap HDD failed

Hi,
I just want to make sure the followings steps are ok ..
1. replace the disk module and verify that it is recognized by the OS with ioscan(1M)
2. restore the PV header to the new disk and reactivate the VG:
# vgcfgrestore -n vgXY /dev/rdsk/cXtYdZ
# vgchange -a y vgXY
3. locate the LVs that have extents on this disk:
# pvdisplay -v /dev/dsk/cXtYdZ

Then Activate the swap

#swapon -a

Please reply...

Thanks,
Pramod
