Sendmail Settings
Hi,
I have a masquerading problem in sendmail settings in Linux.
When I send a email logged in as guest it goes as
>>> MAIL From: AUTH=guest@tic.net.dem.com
250 2.1.0... Sender ok
I would like the email to be sent as unix.dem.com instead of tic.net.dem.com
I have done the changes in sendmail.mc as
LOCAL_DOMAIN(`unix.dem.com')dnl
MASQUERADE_AS(`unix.dem.com')dnl
Could someone assist on this?
Thanks in advance
Ricky

Re: Sendmail Settings
For messages generated from the machine itself, you must modify the submit.mc/submit.cf file. Add the same parameters to the submit.mc file and generate the submit.cf file with m4 submit.mc > submit.cf.
Always save a copy of the files that you modify.
