Shell log-on not permitted

HI,

i am facing following problem. any one is having any idea about it

Shell log-on not permitted on an acceSS7 server. Logging off...
logout

two new user is not login in means if i create new user it is not login giving same problem.

what is the hpux version?
is ur system trusted?

Most likely there is some acceSS7-specific or custom modification in /etc/profile that causes the session to log out immediately unless some condition is fulfilled.

You should read acceSS7 admin documentation: some things that are possible with a regular HP-UX server are not allowed in an acceSS7 server. If you have an acceSS7 support agreement, it may require that the OS is kept very strictly in the standard configuration and only the procedures listed in acceSS7 documentation are allowed.

If that is the case, you may have to treat acceSS7 servers as telephone exchange hardware components, and ignore the fact that they look very much like HP-UX servers.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply the OS version is HP-UX 11.11 and it is not a trusted system.
acceSS7 is an Agilent application built for the telecom purposes i will double check the that from access7 server site they didn't change the things
