Shrink size of JDK11 depot file

Hello all,

We package  our java based product with the HPUX JDK 8 file, currently using 1912_Java80_1.8.0.19.00_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA.depot which is 143Mb is size, all good, it installs and runs on HP-UX 11i without issue.

We now want to use JDK 11 so I downloaded the latest JDK11 package 2202_Java11_11.0.5_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA.depot from the software download center. This file is 599Mb in size which is causing deployment problems.

It is possible to trim down this depot file?

• What would be the impact of removing either Jdk11/JDK11-COM/opt/java11/lib/IA64N or Jdk11/JDK11-COM/opt/java11/lib/IA64W ~145Mb each and similar content?
• Jdk11/JDK11-COM/opt/java11/lib/src.zip seems to have the same content as Jdk11/JDK11-COM/opt/java11/jmods folder, is there duplication that can be trimmed?
