Software for status-check on UPS

Hi!
I've installed Novell OES2-SP2(SLES10-SP3) on Proliant DL360 G7. Server is connected to one HP R1500 UPS for power and USB for management/status.

SLES10 do have support for UPS-status and the UPS is detected, but i feel that the status is not proper read. It says "1 minute until battery is fully charged". And this status stay like this.

Is there some better software for managing UPS? It should also have support for safely down server when battery is empty.
