   Did you look before asking?  My quick Web search for terms like:

      hp-ux startup scripts

found a bunch of things, many of which looked potentially useful.

   I know nothing, and I don't have an HP-UX system up at the moment,
but I'd also try something like the following:

      man rc

This document provides an excellent overview of startup scripts on HP-UX - actually nothing much has changed in terms of how startup scripts work since HP-UX10.x so this is perfectly valid for any release of 11.x:
