Swinstall Error.

Hi,

while am installing the sudo pkg am getting below error kindly advice how to install.

HP-UX hpux01 B.11.11 U 9000/800 1809809621 unlimited-user license..

swinstall -s /tmp/sudo-1.7.4p2.hppa.depot

Input the correct value for your terminal or press "return" to set

To move around in swinstall:

- use the "Tab" key to move between screen elements
- use the arrow keys to move within screen elements
- use "Ctrl-F" for context-sensitive help anywhere in swinstall

On screens with a menubar at the top like this:

- use "Tab" to move from the list to the menubar
- use the arrow keys to move around
- use "Return" to pull down a menu or select a menu item

Add a \* to the end of your command so it looks like this:

swinstall -s /tmp/sudo-1.7.4p2.hppa.depot \*

That tells swinstall to install all available packages in the depot file you specify.

Besides specifying the products you want to install (see Patrick's response) you can set your TERM variable to get a TUI interface.
This should work in most cases:

# export TERM=vt100

and now, swinstall:

# swinstall -s /tmp/sudo-1.7.4p2.hppa.depot
****
