SystemFaultManagment running on 11.23 host

I have SFM running on 11.23 (rp8420) host. Using PS, I only see postmaster running along with buffer and collection processes running. NO database processes! Looked at the sfmdb log and it states that 'password authentication failed for SFMDB'. No entries in the log reflect the creation of CER database or any others. Any ideas?
I stopped and start using /sbin/init.d/sfmdb

It doesn't appear SFM is installed and configured correctly.
I guess the same error message is present in sfm.log

Can you confirm all of the prerequisites software are installed
correctly and none of errors are logged in swagent.log/swinstall.log ?

Regarding the prerequisites, please refer to the SFM Admin Guide for
the proper version you are installing.

% swlist | grep -e SysFaultMgmt -e OnlineDiag -e SysMgmtWeb
% swlist -l product | grep -e openssl -e WBEMServices

thanks.. I had to remove/reinstall it as part of HP/SIM implementation. I did find that the swremove showed warning that 'evweb removal failed' and 'unconfigure for sfm_core_evweb... failed'. Install may not be clean also. Will have to check into this.

I re-installed the latest SFM for 11iv3 and all is working now.
