Tape drives (/dev/nrmt0h: No such device or address)
How can i review what are the tape drivers available for being used in my system?
I mean, there were 2 tape drives damaged and they were replaced and it was used nrmt0h for doing the backup and now when i try to use the command it appears:
root3[14]# mt -f /dev/nrmt0h stat
/dev/nrmt0h: No such device or address
what do i need to do for doing backups again?
Regards :0) .....

Re: Tape drives (/dev/nrmt0h: No such device or address)
Cables to the tape drive(s)? Your problem
_is_ with tape drives, isn't it?
Other potentially useful information:
What kind of system? "my system" may tell
you a lot, but it says nothing to anyone
else.
What kind of SCSI adapter(s)?
Where/how are the tape drives connected?
SCSI IDs?
How much has changed since things worked?
> Help please ...
Same to you.
