Re: Target device is lost in the Name Server GPN_FT response
This is likely due to changes made in your SAN switch or in the disk array. Contact your storage administrator to look to SAN logs and identify the changes made when the messages first appeared,

Re: Target device is lost in the Name Server GPN_FT response
Many thanks!
Log has indicated "No action is needed". Is it correct?
Just the same log will receipt continually.
Just the same log will receipt continually.
The following is part of the log:
Probable Cause / Recommended Action:
This is a paired message with "Target device is lost in the
Name Server GPN_FT response".
On receiving another RSCN, driver sent Name Server GPN_FT request
to obtain all the FC-4 type device information in the fabric.
Driver has detected that a previously lost device (Nport_id)
is back in the GPN_FT response, or it's corresponding World-Wide
Name remains the same.
Driver will be able to communicate with the device.
No action is needed.
Any comment, please feel free to let me know. Thank you Sir!
