Telnet Problem - Urgent
OS HPUX 10.20, running MC/Service Guard.
When i telnet to a machine it gives me the following error...

Trying...
Connected to
Escape character is '^]'.
telnetd: initiate_allt_crypt failed (-18).
Local flow control off
Connection closed by foreign host.
=======================================

To do this put these hostname or ipaddress in .rhost file.

I am not able to work with any of the Internet services like remsh/ftp etc....i tried taking root and invoking an interactive shell (ksh and sh) but failed with an error "permission Denied"....

Have you got /var/adm/inetd.sec file configured ?.
please paste your /etc/inetd.conf
Can you telnet to localhost from the same server ?
