Re: The system can not reboot...

IIRC you can interrupt the rc scripts by typing CTRL-\ (thats control and backslash)

This should let you in to amend your config.

Boot into single user mode:

BO PRI
Interact with ISL? yes
hpux -is

Then correct your hostname. The best way to make sure you properly change all the various places where initialization information (hostname, ip address, etc.) is recorded, is to use /sbin/set_parms. Issue /sbin/set_parms for usage info.

Re: The system can not reboot...

ctrl |
should stop the boot.
otherwise RS the box and boot into single user mode. (hpux -is)

when you get prompt consider deconfiguring your nfs server/nfs client:
vi /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf

It works for me (tm)

Hi,

You can press cntl c & after that switch off the console & switch it ON back after that you will get the console login once you login you can change the appropriate changes you want to do & after that you just restart the server again & check.
