The system freeze at /sbin/auto_parms: DHCP access is disabled (see /etc/auto_parms.log)

Dear Experts ,

I have HP machine RX6600  installed with 4 disks , the raid not configure ,the memory is 64GB

the o.s installed is hp-ux 11.23   ,

After changing the following kernel  parameter pa_maxssiz_32bit=468713472

, nkthread=60000 ,  max_thread_proc=2048 , shmmax=4294967296.

After that I reboot the server ,but when the server rebooted it is freezed to

/sbin/auto_parms: DHCP access is disabled (see /etc/auto_parms.log)   .

I login manually in single user , and when execute command # init 3

The system freeze on the same message.

So , please advise

Thanks

Aboda

Hi

You have to validaty the kernel parametes.

Try to boot from the older kernel:

hpux /stand/vmunix.prev

And then re-check your kernel parameters.
