Re: Thrid party NAS mount on UNIX
Well - first question should be:
Does this buffalo support NFS?
Is NFS configured?
V.

Re: Thrid party NAS mount on UNIX
Volkmar beat me to the question. I believe the el-cheapo Bufalo Terastation class NAS devices are not actually NAS but more a winodooze shares, i.e., can only be accessed via CIFS client from the HPUX environment. Don't be fooled by the label saying "NAS". It is not a full implementation. And at the price range of $250 for a terabyte, what do you expect ? :)

Re: Thrid party NAS mount on UNIX
The Buffalo NAS Terrastaion runs a micro-Linux distro and should support NFS too. http://www.buffalotech.com/products/network-storage/terastation/terastation-duo/
Sharjeel -- I suggest you erad the manual and look at how to manage the NAS for NFS connections sir.
