Time changed automatically

Dear Gurus,

is it possible to change the system time from application side(SAP) ?becaz i found my HPUX System time changed automatically and i am not sure who has changed it (no NTP COnfigured on this node)..is it due to any bug ?

pls help to sort out ...

Only root can change it.
What does "date -u" show?

from OS side nobody has changed the time ..i dont find any log from OS side ..SAP aplication is running on it ..how to check who has changed the time ?

You can't. The first thing you need to do is see if the current time is correct. The time now is about:

Hi,

user has reported they were getting time error on application,so we have checked found 20minutes change in system time ..so we have manaully reverted the time to orginal time.but not sure how the time changed by 20MInutes ..user is asking how the time changed ..
