Transmit timeout

Hi all
I am getting a message in /var/adm/messages
vmunix: ee0: Transmit timeout (scbsts = 00000050, mask = 00000c00)
any one can please tell me what is happening.

NHD Rev(V6.0) installed
but this problem has just arrived previously it was working fine.
AND

is this a one time error? It says it could not deliver data on time.
The stats for that nic look ok.

its not one time error these errors are coming right from feb25 continuously although there is no adverse effect on system till now.

Have you checked the binary errorlog?

Hi all
I have some analysis from HP Belgium regarding thi problem.

The DE60x ethernet driver (ee.mod) has still an old version 1.21 on which this troule has been found. The solution is to install a newer version 1.23.

The issue can be common on all cluster if this patch TCRPAT00016600540 is not installed. So a part of the patch kit 3 is not installed. To avoid this issue or PK3 must be installed completely or PK5 must be installed.

So the reason is becauses of some patches.
