Tru64 licenses
When the licenses on our server expired, i got the new licenses & applied them. The only thing i did wrong here is, i did not remove the "terminated" licenses before installing the new ones. Now, if i give "lmf list" it shows both "terminated" & "active" ones. How can i delete the "terminated" ones ??
NOTE: when i did "lmf delete" it gives, Information provided was ambiguous; multiple licenses were found
I tried the reboot option also w/o success
Thanks & Regards,
Ramesh.K.R.

Re: Tru64 licenses
lmf help delete
gives you first help.
You have to specify authorization when you have multiple licenses.

Michael

Re: Tru64 licenses
To delete one of several licences of same type you have to uniquely identify licence to delete. One way is to provide Licence Authorization Code to "lmf delete" command
To find out Authorization Code for each licence use:
# lmf list full

Re: Tru64 licenses
lets assume, you want to delete a license of osf-base.
lmf list full for osf-base
There you get the authorization number to delete the right license.
see also man lmf

Michael
