Trusted mode problem

Root account locked after 3 times incorrect password, to get access to single user mode i need a root login/password verification. How to unlock root ? HP-UX(11.31)

You power cycle the system, then interrupt the boot process and manually boot the kernel with -is.
The steps vary with the model computer you are using.

Unless you specifically setup single user access startup with a password, you'll get a shell prompt after the system reboots in single user mode.
