Turn Off Auditing

Hi,

How do I turn off auditing in Tru64 V4.0F?

I got this messages in /var/dt/Xerrors

Re: Turn Off Auditing

One upon a time, I was also plagued with a huge growing Xerrors file filling my complete /var disk.

Why not try the following?

cd /var/dt
rm Xerrors
ln -s /dev/null Xerrors

Instead of rm you might also do:

mv Xerrors Xerrors-todelete

(this way you could more easily rollback your changes if ever needed)
