UNIX BOOTING IN SINGLE USER MODE
ERROR
/sbin/ioinitrc:
insf: failed to find user bin in passwd file using uid2 instead,
insf:failed to find root in passwd file using current uid (0) instead
/sbin/krs_sysinit
ln:warning:/stand/krs/_stand_vmunix.krs and /stand/krs_lkq//_stand_vmunix.krs are identical.
ln:warning:/stand/krs/system.krs and //stand/krs_lkq//system.krs are identical.
init:warning : no password entry for root
FIX root ENTRY in /etc/passwd (or TCB in trusted) and Reboot

Is system using trusted or non-trusted one? Check for this as,
# id root
Is /etc/passwd file being in a good format. plz change this thread to hp-ux related threads.
