Re: Ultrium 1840 - Ignite backups work but fbackups fail

Hi Torsten

It turns out that as we have agile views turned on, we have to do the following to start:

./hp_ltt -N

Regards
and thanks for your help.

Should work both, unless you disabled the legacy mode.

the current manual:

http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.BINARYPORTLET/public/kb/docDisplay/resource.process/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay_ws_BI&spf_p.rid_kbDocDisplay=docDisplayResURL&javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&spf_p.rst_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-resourceState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03794414-1%257CdocLocale%253Den_US&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

In the LTT tool, once you have scan it from there, you should be able to see the Library/Autoloader details and Drive details. Then you should be able to select the drives and do a diagnostic scan. You may just need to select or play with the choices on the menu.

If still you cannot see any of those on the LTT, you might need to check physically the connection or might need to powercycle, reconnect the drive from the server, ioscan, check tape driver if loaded and test the functionality again.

Cheers!
