ioscan -fnC disk --> look for DVD
mkdir /DVD
mount -F cdfs /dev/dsk/Cxtxdx /DVD

Re: Unable to install sw with swinstall
Could you post or attach the /var/adm/sw/swagentd.log?
Is this a new installation? Can you resolve the hostname + ip address?
# nslookup your_host_name
# nslookup ip_of_your_host_name
same result?
Regrads,
Robert-Jan

Re: Unable to install sw with swinstall
I've checked IP info with nslookup and found that in /etc/hosts there is a wrong info, and it does not correspond to what is configured in /etc/rc.config.d/netconf.
After fixind this and restarting swagentd with
/sbin/init.d/swagentd stop, start
Everything worked just fine even without reboot.
Thank you both ;)
