Unable to obtain requested swap space

Dear All

i have tru64 version 4 server running on GS60 server , we have a power problem on it which cause system down when we start the system up , it start normally but after few minutes it start to be very slow and if we run any command on it , it gives
Unable to obtain requested swap space , and
Swap space less than 10 percent.
what should i do to solve this problem, shuld i increase the swap size or what, i can not run any command on the server even can not telnet to it

Hi,

Has all the swap space defined in /etc/fstab been mounted ? (swapon -s)

If this has only started happening since the power problem, I'll guess that you lost one or more of your swap disks.

Maybe try booting single user or off the Tru64 CD and checking your drives for issues.

yes they are in /etc/fstab file , and also i login to single user mode and every thing is ok on it and when i go to multiuser mode it start to give me this message

# cat /etc/fstab
# scu show edt
