Unable to use char (| or @) with 11iv2/rx2600/hp console

Hi,

I'm trying to configure an HP console with a rx2600 IPF server.
For correctly using EFI, i must use the vt100 console mode (somme F1 or F8 keys are needed).
But with HPUX 11iv2, it is impossible to use the | or the @ char on this mode : the key to use it under the "hpterm" mode is not recognize (AltGr).
Of course, under hpux, i don't want to switch again to the "hpterm" console mode.

Any idea ?

By default certain keys are reserved. You may try two things.

Escape those characters with \
e.g. If you are keying in a@nil, do it as follows.

a\@nil

You may set those chards to sothing else with stty command.
