Hi ,
I have 50 users out of which i have to keep unlock attempts for 30 users as 5
and remaining users as 3 , is there any command by which it can be done ???
my os. is hpux 11iv2

Unlock attempts on what? Semaphores? Databases?

Hi Dennis,
Is there any condition in trusted system such that if a user account gets locked after 3 attempts , immeidately afer a defined interval he can log back in again ??? without having to reset or unlock his account ??

I'm not aware of anything. I suppose you could write some custom crontab that would do it.
