Update-UX from 11iV3 2007 Feb release to 11iv3 Sep 2011 release

Dears,

Kindly shed some light on this query .

We have updated HPUX Enterprise OE 11iV3 2007 Feb release to 11iv3 Datacenter OE Sep 2011 release , after update-ux operation [ 2 errors and 2 warining , errors are related to Apache & SWM services ] the OE is still showing as Enterprise and not Data Center OE release . Can you please let me know any one experience this scenario and what was appeared as OE after update-ux.

Note :- Used Data Center OE Sep 2011 used for Update operation and also selected DC OE during update-ux OE selection.

I could see the below error message in swm log , also swm job log is attached.

ERROR:   Errors occurred when removing . This may cause errors for swverify.
         Please check the swremove logs to resolve any problems and manually
         execute swremove as necessary.
ERROR:   The "update_prep" for "hpuxws22APACHE.APACHE,r=B.2.2.15.06" failed (exit code "1"). The script location was "/cdrom/catalog/hpuxws22APACHE/APACHE/update_prep".
       * Running "update_prep" for "hpuxws22APACHE.APACHE,r=B.2.2.15.06". failed with 2 errors.
       * Running update_prep Scripts failed with 2 errors and 2 warnings.
NOTE:    More information may be found in the Software Manager logfile using the command "swm job log -v 000004".

Hi Aneesh,

   Uninstall or update Apache , tomcat and webmin products along wuth SFMDB and run update-ux again. This should take care of the issue.
