Upgrade from 11.23 to 11.31 Legact DSF to Persisent

Hi,

I upgraded (cold install) a system to 11.31 and im curious about the persisent dsf's.

I have a san attached disk which has multiple cxtxdx disks but i thought with the new system that should be more like /dev/rdsk/disk4?

If this is the case am i'm getting the most out of multipathing?

The disks were imported after the cold install.

Thanks.

To see if you have any legacy device files mapped to p ersistent devices files do an:

ioscan -m dsf

If no persistent device files show up, try an 'insf -C disk' to see if persistent files are created.  Then try running the above ioscan command again.

The files that you should see are /dev/disk/disk* and /dev/rdisk/disk*
