Upgrade from V5.1 732 to V5.1A 1885

Hi all,
i'd want to upgrade a digital workstation from V5.1 revision 732 to V5.1A revision 1885.
There is a patch to do this? Oo by installtion disk?
Where can i find same documentation?
Thanks a lot!

Hi,

digital workstation? Make sure it is still supported. Docs are here:

Look for the release notes.

We run V5.1A and V5.1B on "Digital Personal Workstations 500(au)"

You need a V5.1A or -B distribution on CDrom (or a RIS-server) to perform the upgrade. If you do not have a OS software distribution contract, you will need to buy the new version.
If you want to obtain a "Standard" software support contract, you'd better install V5.1B

Re: Upgrade from V5.1 732 to V5.1A 1885

Hi,
i have read that i must go in single user mode and then type #installupdate with same option to select the cdrom (5.1A)
Form man page :

/sbin/installupdate [-nogui] [-u] {[cdrom_device], [cdrom_mount_point]}

It's corrected?
