Users can't connect to samba shares after upgrading CIFS Server
Hello,
After upgrading from HP CIFS Server A.02.03.01 to HP CIFS Server A.03.02.00 (HP-UX 11.23), users cannot connect to samba shares. Authentication is done through winbind and the system don't know domain users:
system1:/:id usera
Can't find user usera
system1:/:
Before:
system1:/:id usera
uid=10000(usera) gid=10000(Domain Users) groups=10001()
system1:/:
Any idea of what's going on?
Best Regards,

Re: Users can't connect to samba shares after upgrading CIFS Server
Hi,
Also, I´m seeing session logging is not working. I have this statement in smb.conf:
log file = /var/opt/samba/log.%m
and it worked prior the upgrade but not now....
Best regards,
