VA7100 configuration issue
Hi Everyone,
I have a VA7100 that is connected to a rp5470 running HP-UX 11.11
The VA7100 has two controllers on it and one of them was bad. I replaced the controller and now I cannot see any of the controllers using cvui. I am not reall good at using armdsp so i am not sure, but it seems that i cannot see any of the controllers that i was seeing before i replaced the bad controller.
I am not worried about saving the data on this VA7100 so i can start from scratch but not sure how to do that. Do I need to hook up a serial monitor to the controller port and use the vfp to start over?
Also, both controllers have a yellow light on the controller indicator.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Tim

Re: VA7100 configuration issue
just an update,
I am not at the site that his VA7100 is at so i was trying to do it remotely and had a sysadmin replace the controller. He just informed me that the new controller also has a yellow light next to both of the DIMM's indicator. Not sure how this would affect both controllers but.....
