VGID is the very efficient & dependable information to pool the PVs back into a VG
if there is any issue querying the PVs by
LVM commands.

If we have a mapfile created with "-s" option
vgimport can run without specifying any disk /disks on the command line.

# vgexport/import -s -v -m /dev/vg01.map /dev/vg00

Every disk has unique PVID & all disk belonging to single VG has unique VGID.

It provides ease to import /export and recover the VGS & also helps in locating the lost disks
if they belong to same VG or not weather on
clustured / non clustered environment.
