Re: VTL not identified

Hi Andrew,

I assume the tape drives are CLAIMED now, but the change is not.

You need to configure the "schgr" driver into the kernel.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: VTL not identified

Hi,
If you see on the ioscan that the vtl is unknow as we suspect go to
SAM
kernel configuration
driver select and actions add driver schgr
finally process new kernel
reboot
Hope it helps

Re: VTL not identified

I cannot see it too, because there is ioscan attached.

;-)

Did you adjust your library configuration, e.g. library partitions presented to this server?

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: VTL not identified

Similar to a disk array you can devide the library into several virtual libraries and present the robot and/or certain drives to a specific host.

Nothing presented = nothing visible.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

but i still have issue which i think is san side as i can see robot now but no drives and apparently i should see 4 stape drives, i have nothing unclaimed so must be his end.
