I will implement SG with CFS for oracle RAC
I have SG 11.19, Veritas CFS 5.0
I implement SG Active/Pasive, SG Ext for RAC many times using LVM,
I never implement Veritas CFS
I read all the docs to create the disk group
BUT all the docs show the legacy address
ex:
/etc/vx/bin/vxdisksetup -i c0t0d0
my question is dose the Veritas 5.0 CFs support the agile address
/dev/disk/disk5
and hat about the multipath
Regards
Nabil

Re: Veritas CFS agile address
Whilst VxVM 5.0 intoduced support for Native MPIO rather than DMP, thats not the case for CVM disks... they have to continue to use DMP.
The very link he posted indicates this... on p17 there is the statement:
CAUTION: Foreign devices are not supported as cluster-sharable disks. Do not perform this
procedure on systems that require clustering features of VxVM (CVM).
