As tortesen mentioned, it will automatically reflect as per the formula?

VG Max Size = VG Max Extents * PE Size

VG Max Extents = Max PE per PV * Max PV


so we no need to create or modify any ting right tortsen?

That can be done during installation. I don't remember which installation screen it is, but I know it is there.

so while starting fresh installation of os itself it build the vg00 so at that time itself we can set the max pe per pv and default pe size ah?

So what exactly are your requirements?

You want to built the DR site - so the exact VG settings for VG00 doesn't really matter, as long as all the data fit into that system right?

I would check if an ignite clone will be the best solution for this (or even a DRD clone?).

apart from vg00 for eg lets consider the vg01
vgcreate -s 32 -e 4355 /dev/vg01 /dev/dsk/..
now it will work out right?
