Vpar Recreation
N-class - 3 vpars
Last two week back i removed the third vpars and added their memory & processor to 1 vpar for tesing purpose.
Now i want recreate the 3 vpar onceagain with same resource
I have the old vpdb file.I can copy that old file & reboot the vpars using that vpdb file will bring up the old scenario....
But My question is
In the two week gap i upgraded the vpar version from A.02.02.00 to A.03.03.06 of the two vpars.
The old vpdb file of old version A.02.02.00 if i copy this one will it work????

Re: Vpar Recreation
When you updated to A.03.03 it would hav edone migration work on the cpdb if it needed it.
Read the Release Notes first and see if that indicates any thing like this.
By the way, you posted this in the wrong forum, moved to a more appropriate forum

Re: Vpar Recreation
I would put in the single line to create the vPar again. I guess, the layout of vpdb has changed between the versions (not sure).
You will be on the safe side while using the vPar commands to change your config.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
