Vpar not booting
I had patched one of my vpar running hpunx 11.23. Soon after the reboot, the vpar mode was changed to npar and hence the system didn't boot. I have the boot mode back to vpar by entering the hpuxefi shell and entered vparconfig vpar reboot. After this, the vpar came to MON> prompt and didn't boot to VPAR.
I had given vparload -all.Still the vpar didn't boot and lying at MOn prompt.

Re: Vpar not booting
Bala,
Did you try booting a vpar specifically by name? Does it give you any messages or errors?
Did you try this same procedure to change to vpars mode:
To set the nPartition into vPars mode so that the next nPartition boot allows you to boot the
vPars Monitor and therefore the vPars environment:
1. Set the mode
# vparenv -m vPars
2. Then, you manually reboot the nPartition:
# shutdown -r
...
Shell> fs0:fs0:\> hpux /stand/vpmon
...
MON>
Regards,
Jaime.

Work hard when the need comes out.
