Vpmon verision

Hi please help me to find out the vpmon version on my system..

the swlist shows that the Vpar software is
T1335AC A.03.03.06 HP-UX Virtual Partitions

It must be A.03.03.06 too.

I am going to upgrade the FW vertion to latest..of an RP8420...

SO just checking that wether I need to upgrade the Vpar software for the compatibility with the new FW.

I have Provided HP with the curent Vpar version 3.3.6

Then they asking for the Vpmon version...that I dont have any idea pls help

The vpmon is part of the vPars software, as long as you don't have a mixed environment.

So if you have

T1335AC A.03.03.06 HP-UX Virtual Partitions

the vpmon belongs to this version.


BTW, all the firmware release notes refer to version information like this, e.g. A.03.03.06.

Example:

FW V5.0 or later is required when installing HP-UX vPars A.05.01 on rx8620 or rx7620 servers.

Guys am going to upgrade Rp8420 FW from 4 to 4.2 .so can some one confirm that vpmon 3.3.6 is finr with the FW 4.2.

Anybody have 8420 with FW 4.2
