WHAT DISK ENCLOSURE ARRAY CAN I HAVE ON rx4640?
I am looking for a small size of disk array enclosure, low cost, FC direct attached, not too old model, what would you recommend?
currently there are 2 internal 146 disks, hpux11iv3, it is running out of space. Thanks!

Re: WHAT DISK ENCLOSURE ARRAY CAN I HAVE ON rx4640?
The last models were DS2405 and DS2500.
No new models after them.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: WHAT DISK ENCLOSURE ARRAY CAN I HAVE ON rx4640?
these two type only provide 2GB/sec FC transfer rate.
Are there 4GB/sec with the similar type of criteria?
Thanks!

The HP MSA P2000 may work for you:

Re: WHAT DISK ENCLOSURE ARRAY CAN I HAVE ON rx4640?
FC JBODS are no longer sold since years, same for most SCSI JBODS.
Maybe you can still get a DS2120?
http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/disk_storage/disk_systems/ds2120/index.html
Since current JBODs are SAS, you cannot use them, because you don't have a SAS controller for your server.
(IIRC the P600 is not supported with HP-UX)
So the P2000 disk array could be a (more expensive) solution.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
