WHAT DISK ENCLOSURE ARRAY CAN I HAVE ON rx4640?

I am looking for a small size of disk array enclosure, low cost, FC direct attached, not too old model, what would you recommend?

FC direct attached?

The last models were DS2405 and DS2500.

No new models after them.

Hope this helps!

these two type only provide 2GB/sec FC transfer rate.

Are there 4GB/sec with the similar type of criteria?

Thanks!

FC JBODS are no longer sold since years, same for most SCSI JBODS.

Maybe you can still get a DS2120?

http://h18006.www1.hp.com/storage/disk_storage/disk_systems/ds2120/index.html

Since current JBODs are SAS, you cannot use them, because you don't have a SAS controller for your server.

(IIRC the P600 is not supported with HP-UX)

So the P2000 disk array could be a (more expensive) solution.

Hope this helps!
