WHich RHEL os/update is for HP IA 64?

Hi,
i wanted to install IA 64 RHEL in one of my IA machine.
Can you all please suggest which upgrade version will be good as I have heard that some RHEL upgrades does not perform good in hp IA 64 machines.

Please suggest.

If there is good options with RHEL 4 then also it will do but I need a stable RHEL upgrade (RHEL 4/5) so that I can use this for a long time.

p.s. You have an option to have HPVM Guest if capacity of the box permits and you have HPVM Software.

Hi.

I don't want to use HPVM for installation. And about the model its ia64 hp server rx2620.

I checked the list but it says RHEL4/5 both will do but I have read that we have some issues with some upgrades of RHEL4/5.

I have successfully installed RHEL4/5 on one of rx2660 machines.
So give it a try and let us know if you have any issue.

I have just upgraded my rx3600 to RHEL4 U8

This is the last update to contain hardware
support upgrades. So why not start with this?
