What happens if you create a 9th vpar on a single npar?

We have a superdome with a single npar running vpars. All vpars are running HP-UX 11.11. Even though there is an 8 vpar limit per npar, we managed to create a 9th vpar. Our environment has been unstable ever since then, even though we removed several of the vpars and rebooted the entire frame.

Follow the recommendation always. Have you logged a case with HP Response Center, if you have valid agreement ?

Yes. A ticket was opened with support. They have identified a pair of patches to put on which will likely stabalize our environment. But, that is not my question. What I want to know is what happens when a 9th vpar is created? Is it just a configuraton that is not supported and never really tested, but may work fine or will it cause very bad things to happen?
