Re: What is Ignite ?

Hi,

Ignite is a HP-UX (only?) tool for helping to recover systems.

http://docs.hp.com/en/IUX/

A similar tool for Tru64 is btcreate

Re: What is Ignite ?

Yes it is only in HP-Unix.

It is a software depo installed in another HP-UX. When we install HP-UX, there will be option, Do you want to install from
1. Media
2. HP IGNITE.
If we choose IGNITE, it will ask the HP-UX server details where IGNITE ben installed. Using Ignite, we can do the fresh HP-UX install, OS recovery, multiple client installaion and many many.
